We Are Sprinting, Not Endurance Mammals

According to https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/benefits-of-hiit, uploaded on Jun 2, 2017  "High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) produces many of the same health benefits as other forms of exercise in a shorter amount of time. These benefits include lower body fat, heart rate and blood pressure. HIIT may also help lower blood sugar and improve insulin sensitivity." This is because we are sprinting mammals. We don't run for long periods, we don't do well sitting for long periods. Our bodies love to move really fast, then move slower. Thus it is no suprise that the best exercise would be the same.
